We weighed heavily the pros and cons associated with trampolines and even endured some negative feedback here and there, but given the options out there now we felt it was time to jump in with both feet (get it?) and get a trampoline for Ryder’s 5th birthday.
We got a medium sized one, 10′ across, so its big enough to get real air off of, but small enough for us to manage it. The netting separates him from the springs which is one of the main danger areas, and we will positively limit it to one user at a time. We’ve had to enforce some rules about other dangerous activities in the back yard and felt confident in our choices so far, and this will roll into that thought process.
His delight when he found it already assembled in the dog run was off the charts. I wouldn’t be surprised if he sleeps in it over the summer at some point.
