How cool is this: playing hockey with a friend after so many years. Jason and I hadn’t played hockey together since I moved to Gunnison in 2004. He came up to visit a couple times while Kris and I were living there, but never brought his gear. Now, after living even further away in Maryland for over 2 years, Jason came to visit with his better half Anne and threw his skates in his checked bag. I arranged with my current team, Country Bumpkin Construction for him to sub and we had a blast. Just like ol’times.
