What a crazy weekend. The weather earlier this week delayed the delivery of drywall for two days. Friday morning our drywall guys were here early and soon after, the delivery truck dropped off two pallets of drywall. This was all happening as I was trying to get out the door for the first day of the Annapolis NOOD, so I felt terrible to be leaving Kris with the burden of managing these guys while I was away.
By the time I got home that evening, the space had been transformed into rooms and closets instead of a grove of 2x4s and birds’ nests of wires. The next day, the crew came back to finish hanging the last of the drywall and mud the whole thing. After two days of drying, they will return to sand and do touch up. From there I will prime all the walls and they will return one last time for touch up before I paint. Hopefully it is really going to move fast now.
