The “experts” are telling us this year could be a big snow year. After nearly breaking my back with 3ish inches of snow manually shoveled last year over at Lois’ house, I decided that she needed a snowblower. So for the last few months I’ve been looking for a good second hand thrower (not blower… you’ll get corrected by the Minnesotans) to add to the arsenal. I found a good name brand model of appropriate size (large enough that it won’t take all day to clear her driveway and small enough that I can put it in the back of the truck) for $200. I promptly changed the oil and refreshed the gas with 0E and its been running great.
After collecting dust for a couple months, I finally got the chance to use it in late January and it did great. I cleared our driveway and then ran it over to Lois’ house and it made it really convenient to do so. I think in the future, I’ll probably take it over there in advance of an impending storm so I can merely drive the flex over (or maybe Ry can do it… hint hint).
