Mom and dad got here on Wednesday and their first weekend here they were treated to yet another Mid-Atlantic storm. This one had left a path of destruction across the entire Ohio River Valley and beyond, so it wasn’t just an isolated incident. But seriously… 6 more trees? You’d think that we’d be running out of them by now but I think we’ve barely made a dent.
When the winds hit, I raced out to pull mom and dad inside the house and it continued to litter debris for hours after that. I watched one set of trees domino each other. This time around tho, the shed that I was so excited to have been missed by falling skyscrapers was not so lucky. F*#%! It’s completely obliterated.
I’m getting quotes to have the whole damn forest removed! Its only a matter of time before one of them hits something big. Ugh!
