Continued from Williamsburg
Wednesday we moved on to Pocahontas State Park near Richmond, VA. which was my favorite of the trip and I vowed to come back for a longer stay. The temps took a bit of a dive while we were there (even forcing me to semi-winterize the trailer one night) but that didn’t stop us from exploring the many trails nearby and even venturing out on Ryder’s first ever real mountain bike ride. That was a real proud dad moment… to see him over coming some initial fears and embracing the excitement of what the sport and adventure has to offer. We have many fun and exciting years ahead to nurture his skills for future adventures and I can’t wait to get on two wheels again.
