When the discussion of the Swan basement project first turned to reality, the timeline was somewhat loose. Well, that blew up once Lois decided now was the time to list her house in Bethesda and downsize full time to this house. She needs the space finished ASAP. Her Bethesda house was listed only a little over a week ago and within 48 hours she had multiple offers… one of which she accepted along with a closing before year’s end (thankfully with some rent-back so she has a little more move out time).
Alas, the space at Swan now has deadlines and I’m frantically trying to make as much progress as possible as the click keeps swirling around. Ideally the main spaces will be closed in with insulation and drywall the first week of January… which gives me just a little over a week (of holiday vacation) to finish framing, systems and electrical.
Who needs sleep?
Oh… and did I mention that I am almost solely responsible for the technical production of ABYC’s largest online conference ever starting January 4th? No pressure.
