Newest Feature

Ryder’s tree house has been a slow evolution since installing the zipline. Thankfully I got as far as I did back when I first constructed it, but for a gazillion reasons, I just haven’t been able to wrap up some of the other features. The crossroads of a few hours of free time, the discovery of a box of large lag screws, and a dim light bulb of an idea finally appeared so I went to work constructing the latest feature… a climbing wall.

I had always wanted it to be unique but blamed the lack of materials on my lack of progress. Low and behold, I had what I needed after all in the beams that I had milled half a year ago for the fall fest. I warmed up the chainsaw and made some adjustments and I was soon screwing the climbing holds to the new surface. Mr. Ryder was pleased and climbed it no less than 20 times… circling between it and the slide.
