Strangely, ABYC doesn’t observe MLK for a vacation day. Thankfully I observe the need for our oldest child to get on the mountain before our scheduled mini vacation to Seven Springs in late February. So I took the day off so Kris and I could take Ryder for some much needed turns at Liberty.
It comes on the tail of one of the busiest hockey weekends Ryder has seen yet… Friday: school + hockey practice, Saturday: hockey tournament in Woodbridge, Virginia (6 games), Sunday: hockey jamboree (7 games). Needless to say, Ryder was pooped Monday evening after skiing.
