Most of the time Christmas rolls around, my list for Santa typically consists of a tool I would like that I can’t justify buying for myself. Most everyone likes to call these “toys” even tho they mostly lead to work. There is frequently a misnomer that I’m a tech wienie, but after returning several widgets that promised to make my life easier or revolutionize the way I do anything… I believe the gift giving powers have given up on giving me those.

This year, I was pleasantly surprised to find something that wasn’t on my list and even at a point I had stated I wasn’t interested in. However, Kris did her research with Jason and had most everything thought out and made the plunge with a drone. The fad of flying drones has gently faded away leaving some great quality options out there while the pricing has come down from the more advanced featured drones, and here I am… learning what I can about how they work and what they can do. I can think of lots of cool projects to film with this little guy in the coming years.
