Ok, yes that’s been the license plate on the Flex for years now, but beyond that we are actually big Colorado Avalanche fans. Periodically, Ryder has been photographed wearing AVS garb of some fashion but not until now has he actually attended an NHL hockey game. We splurged and got seats for the early season visit of our beloved AVS as they play the local Washington Capitals and this is the only game we would wear something other than the home team livery. Decked out in AVS gear, Ryder got lots of fist bumps and chants from other visiting fans.
During the pregame warm up, we headed down to the ice to watch from close up and while there one of the players flipped Ryder a puck after some joking through the glass. Ryder was over the moon.
