Some jobs are dirty, just plain dirty. Like cleaning the sink trap (ok, I can deal with that), baby puke (been there), dog poop squished in shoes (yep) that we just deal with. Other jobs we hand over to those with stomachs of steel… septic work and of course scrubbing the boat bottom after long lapse in bottom maintenance.
It had been since fall of ‘16 since Backfin was pulled and in dire need of attention. So we had a “short haul” done last week to assess needed steps and scrape the big stuff off. We know now that she needs paint badly, but we can have her pulled again this fall for that. I did change the shaft anodes while out since they were convenient.
Of course I did get stuck with this not too long ago…
