Each year during the Navy Academy Commencement Week, the Blue Angels perform and air show over the Severn River. We are so fortunate to have this right here in our own back yard. I took the day off and started my day early on the boat to get it cleaned and the final commissioning steps so we could all take it out and watch the show at anchor.
… and what a show it was. I think it was one of the best shows we’ve seen in years, the weather was spectacular, and you could have walked from shore to shore on the Severn with so many boats. We found a great spot to watch the jets fly right overhead at nearly the middle of the Severn Channel.
