I’m a sucker for a snow day, like a kid in a candy store. It’s certainly a result of all the good times with the boys back in the day, but it started long before that even. Not only are there lots of activities to emmerse yourself in, but nothing feels more perfect than a crackling fire and warm slippers while watching it pile up outside the window. This little storm was only supposed to drop a few inches on us, but it turned into around 10. Plus, it came on a Saturday night so we were able to soak it in without the stress of having to go somewhere.
I got some tractor time to plow the road which (don’t tell anyone) is quite fun and I feel like I’m actually helping my neighbors in the process. Kris and Ryder threw snowballs at me all the while. After some warm up cocoa, it was time for sledding at the high school and relaxing in front of the fire. My second round of plowing was early Monday morning using my new lights which worked exquisitely!
