While the snowfall here in Annapolis was barely anything compared to just a couple hundred miles north of here, we had our fair share of cold. So much so that all of the creeks froze, the Severn River and even the Chesapeake Bay from shore to shore along the bay bridge. Here at the ABYC office, we watched an ice breaker work its way up Back Creek trying to keep the channel somewhat accessible. The Finley’s Catalina 36 and the Alberg both remained in the water although they were frozen in and were sitting in somewhere around 5 inches of solid ice.
